How do we create an arts community?

Inspired by local art galleries discovered during international business travel, a retired software executive envisioned an arts scene along the Jersey Shore. After scouting the city of Long Branch, he purchased a century old neglected warehouse complex. The structures and site posed numerous hurdles:

• how to address the community master plan
• how to connect a bustling beach to a struggling downtown
• how to revitalize abandoned buildings with new uses
• how to salvage and recycle historic building materials
